Movie screening in Amsterdam: Victory Day

Join us on May 10th between 14:00 and 17:00 at HTIB for a film event and open discussion about NATO, with a specific focus on the continuity and cooperation between war alliances before and after World War II, as well as NATO’s crimes.

To this day, NATO plays an important role in the competition between various power blocs for resources, influence, and markets. As a result, more and more calls for militarization and war are coming from our government.

However, for the ordinary person who must work to survive, war offers nothing but death and misery. We believe resistance must arise against this! The working class of the Netherlands has previously made a stand against war. In the 1980s, a broad peace movement mobilized thousands of people against NATO. During our discussions, we will explore how we can achieve this again.

This event is organised by the NCPN and the TKP (Communist Party of Turkey), and will be held in English.
